From a single vineyard that produces magnificient dry wines, Úrágya, meaning 'God's bed', sits between two extinct volcanoes to the west of the high-quality Tokaj region of Mád. The altitude of the vineyard gives tension and freshness and afternoon sun provides density and structure. Hints of spice from oak ageing, with dried lemon peel, honey and an attractive salinity on the finish. Drink from 2025 to 2033. 14%

From one of the great Tokaj estates, this single-vineyard Great First Growth sweet, Aszú wine comes from the outskirts of Tarcal, with its volcanic and loess soils and impressive slopes. With a combination of rain and heat throughout the growing season, harvest in 2018 was much earlier than usual and record volumes of Aszú berries were harvested. Wonderful perfume of peach, dried fruits and wild and exotic fruits are carefully balanced with tangy acidity and hints of cedar. Drink from 2025 to 2040. 11%

This bone-dry white wine from one of Tokaj's most famous names is a selection from their most prized classed-growth vineyards in the village of Mád. The 2021 vintage benefitted from a cool autumn and allowed the grapes to retain plenty of acidity and freshness. Lots of ginger, apple and citrus are supported with an attractive waxiness on the palate and lots of salinity. Drink from 2025 to 2033. 13.5%
